3What happens after the request

  • we delete the data from the internal system, email and Job Tracker;
  • we instruct service providers that store data on our behalf to delete it;
  • data disappears from backups within 30 days as they are overwritten;
  • if your data was shared with an employer, we inform them of your request where possible;
  • we tell you what was deleted, what had to be kept and why.

4When data cannot be deleted immediately

In some cases the law allows us to keep part of the data. We will tell you honestly if this applies to you:

  • Your visa or work permit is being processed. Deletion will stop the process — your manager will warn you first and check that you really want to stop.
  • The law requires us to keep records. For example, contracts and accounting records — for the periods set by the law of the country where the legal entity is registered.
  • There is a dispute or proceeding. Related data is kept until it is resolved.
  • Information about scammers. We delete your sender data, but information about the scammer stays in the database to warn others.
Data shared with an employer and the UAE authorities is kept by them under UAE law. We will pass on your request, but we cannot delete data in other organisations’ systems ourselves.

5Your visit history

If you clicked “Accept all”, the site keeps statistics of your visits in Matomo on our server (details in the “Cookies and visit analytics” document). Records are deleted automatically after 12 months. To have them deleted earlier, write to us with your IP address and the approximate time of your visit — we will find and delete the records. If you chose “Necessary only”, only anonymous page views are counted: they are not linked to you, so your records cannot be found in them.

Only server logs remain (IP address, time, page). They are deleted automatically after 90 days. If you want them deleted earlier, include the approximate date and time of your visit and your IP address in your email — we cannot find the record without them.

History in your browser

The list of pages you opened and your saved cookie choice are stored in the browser on your device. You can delete them yourself:

  • Safari on iPhone: Settings → Apps → Safari → “Clear History and Website Data”.
  • Chrome on a phone: menu ⋮ → “History” → “Delete browsing data”.
  • Chrome and Edge on a computer: Ctrl + Shift + Delete, on a Mac — Cmd + Shift + Delete.
  • Safari on a Mac: “History” menu → “Clear History”.

6Withdrawing consent

If you gave consent — for example, to be contacted, to publish a review or to cookies — you can withdraw it with the same email or via the “Cookie settings” link. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

7If you are not satisfied with our reply

You can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the country where you live or work, or of the country where our legal entity is registered.
